These Long Lines or Lunge Lines come in white or black only. They are made with New England Rope's 1/2" Braided Safety Blue “Tree Line” rope. This rope was originally designed as a climbing rope with a blue center. If the blue started showing through the cover it was time to replace the rope. This rope is non-spliceable so the ends are melted and then dipped in a protective coating. One end will also have a quality leather popper. Because of the feel and durability of this rope it has made it suitable and even preferred by some equestrians and is now commonly used as lead ropes, lunge lines and even various types of reins. This rope is used by many natural horse trainers and clinicians. This rope has a firmer/stiffer feel than Nylon or Polyester ropes, it doesn't stretch and keeps its shape well.
